Forecasting & Analytics Intern - Remote

About the Role

PlanetArt is seeking a Forecasting & Analytics Intern to join our Forecasting & Pricing Group. This remote internship is designed for students or recent graduates who want to explore careers in data analytics, forecasting, and business planning. As a Forecasting & Analytics Intern, you will assist in developing and maintaining forecasting models, providing you with hands-on experience in the field.

What You'll Do

• Collect, clean, and analyze historical data to support forecasts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations to understand business drivers.
• Create recurring reports, dashboards, and presentations to summarize data and insights.
• Monitor forecast performance and track variances.
• Learn and apply statistical and data analysis techniques to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Support senior analysts on projects and gain exposure to industry best practices.

Requirements

• Students or recent graduates in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with statistical software or programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Must be local to or willing to relocate to the Calabasas area.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Knowledge of forecasting methods and tools.
