Flight Checker - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Flight Checker to join our team remotely and help make everyone’s journeys better. As a Flight Checker, you will be responsible for ensuring that prepared meals meet specifications and comply with menu cards. This role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Check prepared meals for all classes to ensure they meet specifications.
• Handle requests for special meals or last-minute changes effectively.
• Complete all security checking procedures in line with DFT requirements.
• Communicate any delays through daily written reports.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team in a customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• Educated to GCSE levels.
• Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
• Good English and numeracy skills.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a production/manufacturing/stores environment.
• Working knowledge of Basic Hygiene.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
