Fleet Motor Underwriter - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Motor Underwriter for a remote opportunity at Unipol. As a Fleet Motor Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in evaluating motor risks and ensuring compliance with underwriting policies. This position offers the chance to work with a leading insurance company in Italy, contributing to the profitability of the portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Conduct technical evaluations of fleet motor risks, ensuring adherence to the company's underwriting guidelines.
• Analyze risks proposed by the agency network for new contracts, ensuring compliance with underwriting policies.
• Define appropriate contractual conditions for new insurance policies.
• Support the distribution network during acquisition and renewal phases, providing high-quality service and consultancy on complex positions.
• Monitor the technical performance of existing policies to ensure profitability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in economics or law with excellent final grades.
• Previous professional experience in insurance, preferably in motor risk underwriting.
• Good knowledge of the auto insurance sector (RC Auto and ancillary guarantees).
• Technical skills in risk assessment and pricing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Results-oriented, dynamic, precise, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team spirit.
• Ability to manage stress, operational flexibility, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the insurance industry with a focus on fleet underwriting.
• Membership in protected categories (ex art° 1 L. 68/99) is a preferred requirement.
