Fleet Management Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Fleet Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at DP World. This remote opportunity allows you to manage our fleet operations effectively while working from anywhere. As a Fleet Management Specialist, you will oversee both our company fleet and external client fleets, acting as the central point of contact for all vehicle-related matters.

What You'll Do

• Manage all inquiries related to the assigned fleet, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize vehicle procurement, delivery, and return processes, including scheduling.
• Order vehicles and rental cars according to defined requirements and specifications.
• Administer and monitor leasing contracts, mileage, and vehicle returns.
• Oversee the management of registration and vehicle documents.
• Ensure the validity of fuel cards and other vehicle-related documentation.
• Generate monthly reports to inform clients and department heads about the current fleet status.
• Act as a liaison between clients, internal departments, and external contacts.
• Handle damage management, reviewing offers and cost estimates, and forwarding violations to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial vocational training.
• At least two years of experience in customer support or fleet management.
• Knowledge in fleet management, leasing, or car rental is advantageous.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of operational processes.
• Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with fleet management software.
• Project management skills.
