About the Role

At PeK Automotive, we are seeking a talented Firmware Developer - Autonomous Electric Systems (R&D) remote to join our innovative team. As a key member of our Research & Development department, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge autonomous electric systems and vehicles for agriculture and rescue operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable mobility and work on real-world solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop embedded software for electronic control units (ECUs).
  • Implement and optimize communication protocols for electronic systems.
  • Create technical documentation, including application logic and protocol descriptions.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Utilize your hands-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers to contribute to various projects.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers and completed projects to showcase your skills.
  • Strong understanding of communication interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485, RS422.
  • Basic knowledge of signal processing.
  • Experience using version control systems (Git).
  • Practical skills in using oscilloscopes and measurement equipment are a strong plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in developing software for autonomous systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C++ or Python.
