Finance & Strategy Manager - Payments Product (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Finance & Strategy Manager - Payments Product to join DoorDash USA, a leading on-demand food delivery service. This Finance & Strategy Manager remote position will play a crucial role in accelerating our business growth by identifying new opportunities and implementing innovative solutions. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance our profitability and scalability while ensuring customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new processes and investment decision-making frameworks.
• Drive strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Oversee the financial viability and performance of our adoption and retention initiatives.
• Own the quarterly planning process in collaboration with our S&O counterparts.
• Optimize our approach to balancing growth vs. profitability.
• Identify and quantify key risks and opportunities in our business.
• Support special projects to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Track and analyze key business/financial KPIs, uncover trends, and assess current/future business risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of strategic finance, operational finance, FP&A, or investment banking experience at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company.
• Team management experience, with a passion for building and developing a team.
• Experience owning budgets for major functional areas within an organization.
• Ability to thrive in high-performance cultures and handle stress well.
• Comfortable embracing ambiguity and rapid change.
• Proven ability to earn the trust of senior leaders and influence their thinking on key strategic decisions.
• Experience building and reviewing highly complex financial models.
• Ability to distill complex financial data into digestible outputs for use across the organization.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the food delivery or tech industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial operations.
