Fill Plant Operator - Industrial Gas Manufacturing
About the Role
American Welding and Gas, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fill Plant Operator to join our team in Harrison, Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in industrial gas manufacturing. As a Fill Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of compressed gas and liquid products, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - WE WILL TRAIN!
What You'll Do
- Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure manifold meets required specifications on a daily basis.
- Conduct pre-fill inspections of cylinders to guarantee quality.
- Fill and label cylinders accurately as outlined in the SOP.
- Move and store compressed gas or liquid cylinders safely.
- Ensure completion and accuracy of paperwork related to cylinder filling.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to read and write English proficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret gauges and analog dials.
- Forklift skills and experience are a plus.
- Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work well with others.
- Ability to perform duties in a safety-conscious manner with minimal supervision.
