Field Service Engineer - HVAC (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer - HVAC (Remote) to join our team at Honeywell. This position focuses on supporting building performance through HVAC, security, and building automation systems, utilizing connected services, data analytics, and engineering tools. As a Field Service Engineer, you will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, configure software and hardware, and ensure smooth installation and acceptance of service jobs.

What You'll Do

• Deliver proactive and measurable outcomes for our customers with a focus on occupant comfort, energy consumption, and building-asset performance utilizing Connected Service technologies and EBI tools.
• Prepare engineering drawings and application projects specifically for Service Jobs (i.e., SLJ’s).
• Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation and inform FSL or FSS in a timely manner.
• Install EBI, prepare graphics, and necessary programming works as per specifications.
• Demonstrate deep competence in virtual and physical environments (Hardware/Software).
• Be present on the job site during temporary or final acceptance of Service Jobs.
• Collaborate effectively with local and foreign teams to solve problems and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify evolutionary initiatives to evaluate in terms of applicability and costs.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or professional qualification in engineering or a related technical field (HVAC, Security, Controls, IoT).
• Hands-on experience servicing HVAC systems, with knowledge of Fire, Security, Access, or Alarm systems being a plus.
• Strong understanding of HVAC processes, building automation controls, and standard protocols.
• Knowledge of ICT, networking, IoT, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and understand switching.
• Strong fault-finding skills, communication abilities, and customer-facing professionalism.
• Fluent in English and ability to work in dynamic, evolving technical environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced building automation systems.
• Certifications in HVAC or related fields.
