Experienced Project Leader - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Experienced Project Leader to join our innovative team at BRP-Rotax. This remote position plays a pivotal role in the R&D Project Management Office (PMO), where you will help shape the future of mobility by overseeing and enhancing our project portfolio. You will be instrumental in establishing project management standards, methods, and tools, ensuring that our projects align with our strategic goals.

What You'll Do

• Build and optimize project management standards, methods, and tools.
• Manage and monitor the project and portfolio management landscape, including prioritization, resource planning, and reporting.
• Support the development of the New Product Development (NPD) process.
• Oversee project progress and ensure quality, budget, and timeline objectives are met.
• Conduct process reviews, audits, and lessons-learned sessions.
• Create transparent KPI and management reports to support strategic decisions.
• Assist project leaders with financial planning, budgeting, and project controlling.
• Collaborate closely with project leaders, departments, and senior management, facilitating cross-departmental steering committees.

Requirements

• HTL or university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Process Management, Innovation Management, Product & Engineering Management, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of classical, agile, or hybrid project management methods.
• Experience with project portfolio management tools and reporting systems.
• Certifications such as PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master are advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, process development, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in German and English is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the automotive or powersports industry.
• Familiarity with advanced project management software.
• Leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
