Entry-Level Designer I - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking an Entry-Level Designer I to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Designer I, you will focus on building foundational skills through hands-on Revit modeling, coordination, and documentation. This role is perfect for those eager to learn and grow in the telecommunications and ICT fields.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with an engineering mentor to enhance your skills and contribute to project delivery.
- Prepare Revit models, update drawings, and assist with reports and calculations.
- Participate in structured training journeys and shadow senior consultants to gain hands-on exposure to various technology disciplines.
- Maintain organized documentation and models that reflect accurate design intent.
- Support project teams by updating Revit models and documentation aligned with engineering direction.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in the AEC industry or related professional environments.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new software and follow established workflows.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to BIM coordination concepts.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Industry certifications such as EIT or introductory Revit/BIM certifications.
