About the Role
Join our team as an Enterprise Data Strategy Director and lead the charge in shaping our data strategy. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to establish the vision and strategic priorities for data management across Aptar, ensuring that data is effectively governed and leveraged for critical business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the creation and execution of the enterprise-wide data strategy, focusing on data governance, quality, and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align data initiatives with business objectives and drive strategic value from data assets.
- Champion innovative data technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance the organization’s data capabilities.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable data architecture that supports business intelligence and analytics.
- Promote data democratization by establishing governance models that encourage report reuse and lifecycle management.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on key metrics and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Manage the Aptar Data Encyclopedia, detailing all data used across segments and departments.
- Drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and foster a data-driven culture across the enterprise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years in data management or analytics, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep experience with enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and BI tools.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to define and execute data strategies that align with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and change management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with manufacturing operations and systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in data management.
