Enterprise Data Architect (MDM/​RDM) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Enterprise Data Architect (MDM/RDM) remote to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead enterprise data architecture initiatives, focusing on Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) solutions across both on-premise and Azure environments. You will play a crucial role in shaping the data strategy for our Greater Philadelphia area client.

What You'll Do

• Architect MDM/RDM, ETL, and data integration solutions across on-prem and Azure environments.
• Lead enterprise data architecture for Enterprise Information Management (EIM), including MDM, ERDM, data movement, and data services.
• Design and enhance data sourcing from various on-prem and external systems.
• Guide teams on provider data remediation, reporting, and regulatory/audit needs.
• Translate business HEDIS and data requirements into technical specifications.
• Prototype new data solutions in collaboration with business partners.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Contribute to enterprise technology strategy and future-state data architecture.
• Ensure compliance with data architecture standards and maintain technical integrity.
• Support data virtualization, API integration, and service-based data frameworks.
• Drive data quality, reconciliation, integrity checks, and reusability improvements.
• Define relationships with data owners and data providers.
• Work independently to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data management, ETL, SQL, and MDM/RDM.
• Hands-on expertise with Informatica IDQ/MDM, Informatica Multi-Domain MDM, Informatica MDM SaaS, DataStage, SAS DMA, Azure Cloud, Data Lake, ADF, Oracle SQL Developer, SSMS, Tableau, Tidal, Git, and related tools.
• Strong SQL development skills (ANSI SQL, Azure SQL) and experience with data modeling and data relationships.
• Mandatory healthcare payer experience in MDM/RDM.
• Experience with data analysis, data services, data publishing, and enrichment.
• Background across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): planning, design, build, testing, implementation.
• Knowledge of healthcare data domains (claims, eligibility, providers, pharmacy, lab, ADT/CCDA).
• Ability to guide data quality monitoring, reconciliation, and integrity checks.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Azure Cloud architecture experience.
• Experience with multi-domain MDM, ERDM, Informatica IDQ/MDM, ADF, Lakehouse, and analytics frameworks.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements.
