About the Role

We are seeking a skilled English into Danish Patent Translator - Remote to join our dynamic team at Welocalize. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting patent translation projects in the fields of biology and mechanics. As an integral part of our global team, you will implement live patent translations from English into Danish, ensuring accuracy and clarity in every document.

What You'll Do

• Translate patent documents from English to Danish, focusing on biology and mechanics.
• Utilize CAT tools, specifically XTM, to enhance translation efficiency.
• Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
• Follow detailed instructions and guidelines provided for each project.
• Engage in a multi-vendor scenario, collaborating with other translators and linguists.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in patent translation.
• Native fluency in Danish with excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
• A degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in patent terminology related to biology and mechanics.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with XTM or similar CAT tools.
• Familiarity with multi-vendor translation environments.
