About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Program Associate to join our innovative team at Proxima Fusion. What You'll Do

• Coordinate and execute infrastructure upgrades to develop Proxima’s R&D facilities.
• Manage logistics, inventory, and facilities for R&D projects in Switzerland.
• Support project coordination and scheduling for prototype builds.
• Specify and procure equipment for the overall magnets R&D program.
• Lead growth initiatives critical to the engineering team’s success, including planning and organizing training.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide solutions to enhance internal processes, leveraging AI whenever possible.

Requirements

• A recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of work experience, including internships, ideally in a dynamic industrial environment.
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with suppliers and external partners.
• Fluent in English; conversational in German is a plus.
• Valid driving license in Switzerland.
