Employee Relations Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team at Activision. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our workplace culture while ensuring a positive employee experience. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in handling sensitive employee relations issues across our organization, working closely with HR and Legal teams to implement effective solutions.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough reviews of sensitive employee relations issues to ensure fair and consistent resolutions.
• Collaborate with Activision Blizzard’s Ethics & Compliance and Legal teams to address workplace conflicts and implement effective solutions.
• Make informed recommendations following investigations of policy violations or cultural concerns, determining appropriate resolutions or disciplinary actions.
• Assist in drafting coaching or disciplinary documents and talking points for management.
• Provide consultative support and guidance to business leaders and HR Business Partners on performance management and complex employee relations matters.
• Ensure timely documentation of employee relations cases, maintaining detailed case notes within the ER case management system.
• Contribute to manager development through ER training initiatives, identifying training needs and delivering training on essential ER topics.
• Facilitate interactive processes with employees seeking reasonable medical accommodations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 3+ years of direct Employee Relations experience or a combination of HR Business Partner/Generalist or Employment Legal experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of Labor Relations or experience supporting Unionized employees is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence leadership effectively.
• Demonstrated emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive situations.
• Ability to analyze and leverage data to support workplace initiatives.

• Knowledge of employee relations training methodologies.
