About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer - Nuclear New Build to join our team remotely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on major nuclear projects in the United Kingdom, particularly Hinkley Point C, while gaining invaluable experience that will shape your career in the nuclear sector.

What You'll Do

• Engage in electrical design, calculations, and system integration for nuclear projects.
• Work on-site at Hinkley Point C, overseeing installation, inspection, and testing of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to solve complex engineering problems.
• Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Build deep technical expertise in electrical engineering principles and practices.

Requirements

• A degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Some experience in electrical design, installation, or construction works.
• Understanding of core electrical principles, including electrical distribution and networks.
• Familiarity with cable sizing, routing, and containment.
• Exposure to industrial or large project environments is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in testing, commissioning, or inspection of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of earthing and protection systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team.
