Electrical Designer for Special Machine Construction - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer for Special Machine Construction to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers you the opportunity to engage in the design and development of electrical systems for our innovative machinery and installations. As an Electrical Designer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Handle the design tasks related to the electrical equipment of our machines and systems.
• Project and design new installations as well as modifications according to relevant standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Create circuit diagrams and production documentation (assembly plans, terminal plans, parts lists, etc.) using the planning tool E-Plan P8.
• Manage the SAP-supported procurement of electrical materials and maintain article master data.
• Address service requests regarding replacement part clarification.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, mechanical design, software development, R&D, production, and after-sales teams.

Requirements

• Completed electrical engineering training, ideally combined with further education as an electrical technician or a comparable qualification.
• Good knowledge of SAP/S4 and the CAD system E-Plan to facilitate your entry into the role.
• Professional experience in a similar position is desirable but not a prerequisite.
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in using common MS Office products.
• Excellent communication skills, confident demeanor, and a structured, independent working style.
