Dock and Maintenance Operator - Nautical Experience
About the Role
We are excited to announce an opening for a Dock and Maintenance Operator to join our team at Freedom Boat Club in Madrid. This role is pivotal as we embark on a strategic project aimed at making boating accessible to new audiences. As a Dock and Maintenance Operator remote, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of our boats and dock facilities.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and clean boats and dock areas regularly to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs on boats and equipment.
- Monitor the condition of boats and report any technical or safety issues.
- Assist members with inquiries and provide support in using the boats.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and respond to emergencies following established protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Electromechanics, Automotive, or similar fields.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in customer service sectors like hospitality or retail.
- Previous experience with boats, either as a user or professional, is highly valued.
- Nautical certification such as Navigation License or PNB is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience in outdoor work environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective member interaction.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to various tasks.
What We Offer
- Immediate start date.
- Fixed-term contract from May to October.
- Full-time position with rotating shifts.
- Annual salary of €18,608.74, paid in 12 installments.
