About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to join OCHIN, a nonprofit leader in health care innovation. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a nationwide talent strategy that supports our mission to improve health outcomes in rural and underserved communities.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle, from workforce demand intake to candidate selection and hire.
- Develop and execute a competency-based talent acquisition strategy aligned with healthcare IT growth.
- Partner with executives to translate business and technology roadmaps into capability demand plans.
- Implement structured, evidence-based interview methods to reduce bias and enhance candidate selection.
- Build and sustain diverse talent pipelines, focusing on non-traditional hiring pathways.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in talent acquisition.
- Minimum of 3 years managing a remote team.
- Experience recruiting for healthcare IT or regulated technology environments.
- Demonstrated success in implementing competency-based hiring models.
Nice to Have
- Experience with advanced AI tools for optimizing recruiting strategies.
- Background in workforce development partnerships.
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence capability.
