About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to join OCHIN, a nonprofit leader in health care innovation. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a nationwide talent strategy that supports our mission to improve health outcomes in rural and underserved communities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle, from workforce demand intake to candidate selection and hire.
  • Develop and execute a competency-based talent acquisition strategy aligned with healthcare IT growth.
  • Partner with executives to translate business and technology roadmaps into capability demand plans.
  • Implement structured, evidence-based interview methods to reduce bias and enhance candidate selection.
  • Build and sustain diverse talent pipelines, focusing on non-traditional hiring pathways.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in talent acquisition.
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a remote team.
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare IT or regulated technology environments.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing competency-based hiring models.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced AI tools for optimizing recruiting strategies.
  • Background in workforce development partnerships.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence capability.
