Director of Product Management - Certifications and Compliance (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Product Management - Certifications and Compliance to join our team at BeyondTrust. This remote role focuses on leading our product management initiatives related to certifications and compliance, crucial for our cybersecurity SaaS portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our products, ensuring they meet the necessary regulatory standards while driving business growth.

What You'll Do

• Own the strategy, planning, and resourcing for certification programs, including FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and DOD ATOs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with compliance requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and assess their impact on product direction.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product specifications.
• Engage with customers to understand their regulatory challenges and incorporate their feedback into product development.
• Drive AI-enabled approaches to certification delivery, enhancing efficiency and reducing time-to-market.
• Communicate certification-driven business performance to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and outcomes.
• Serve as a spokesperson on product certifications at industry events and forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance-related roles.
• 5+ years of experience in product management.
• Proven track record with FedRAMP authorization processes.
• Deep expertise in compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and Common Criteria.
• Experience in cloud-native products and SaaS environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for executive-level interactions.

Nice To Have

• MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Security certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Ability to obtain required US Government clearances.
