Director of Product Design - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Product Design - Remote to lead our innovative design team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the user experience of our products and drive design strategy across the organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will influence product direction and ensure that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and usability.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and enhance user experience.
• Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to create cohesive product experiences.
• Utilize user research and data analysis to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
• Champion design thinking methodologies and advocate for user-centered design practices.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our design practices innovative.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design leadership.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
• Experience in leading design teams and managing design processes.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in data-driven design and user research methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B SaaS product design.
• Familiarity with design systems and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
