Director of Platform Design & GTM Strategy - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Platform Design & GTM Strategy to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will engage customers and partners—including capital partners—to shape our go-to-market strategy, co-design workflows, drive adoption, and translate real-world execution into platform evolution. As a hands-on leader, you will own how the platform is deployed, adopted, and scaled across various operating environments.
What You'll Do
- Design and own the platform-led go-to-market strategy, ensuring effective deployment through partners.
- Define GTM motions that function seamlessly in real operating environments.
- Diagnose friction across sales, financing, underwriting, and customer trust; redesign workflows to improve speed, clarity, and conversion.
- Ensure the platform is deployed as core infrastructure, not merely a bolt-on tool.
- Intervene directly when execution breaks and establish repeatable playbooks.
- Personally design end-to-end user experiences and interaction models using Figma.
- Prototype GTM flows before engineering build-out to ensure feasibility.
- Translate real-world complexity into clean, confidence-building UX.
- Influence roadmap priorities through concrete design artifacts, applying human-centered problem framing across diverse stakeholders.
- Design complete journeys across multiple actors and uncertainty points, utilizing rapid prototyping to de-risk execution and align teams.
- Establish tight feedback loops from real usage into platform design, balancing backend power with usability.
- Serve as the connective tissue between field insights and platform design, translating partner feedback into product requirements.
- Align Product, Engineering, Credit, Operations, and Leadership around priorities, pressure-testing assumptions with real data and usage.
- Build and lead a small senior team over time.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups.
- Strong design skills and proficiency in Figma.
- Quantitative background (economics, math, engineering).
- Top-tier academic credentials.
- Fintech experience preferred; embedded finance/lending experience is a nice-to-have.
- Exceptional storytelling ability with an authentic communication style.
- Ownership of GTM execution and adoption, with systems thinking across product, design, and operations.
- Comfortable operating with executives while diving into details.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from $160K to $200K.
- Variable compensation plan and equity options.
- Remote work flexibility, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.
- Opportunity to lead a high-impact team in a rapidly growing sector.
- Engagement with cutting-edge technology at the intersection of fintech, energy, and AI-driven risk optimization.
- Visa sponsorship available for top candidates.
- Access to a comprehensive directory of visa sponsorship jobs from employers worldwide.
- Supportive work environment that values innovation and collaboration.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead platform design and GTM strategy in a rapidly growing fintech sector. With competitive compensation and remote flexibility, it's an attractive position for experienced professionals.
