Director of People Technology & Data - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of People Technology & Data to lead the vision, strategy, implementation, and management of our People technology ecosystem and data analytics capabilities. This remote Director of People Technology & Data role will be critical in transforming the employee experience, driving HR operational excellence, and leveraging people data to inform business strategy and decisions.

Your Impact

  • Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for People Technology and Data, ensuring alignment with the overall HR and business strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and features to enhance the employee lifecycle, improve HR service delivery, and drive organizational efficiency.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, maintenance, and optimization of all core People systems (e.g., HCM, ATS, LMS, Compensation, Performance Management).
  • Develop and mature the People Data analytics function, creating standardized dashboards, reports, and predictive models that provide insights into workforce trends, talent acquisition effectiveness, retention, and performance.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify critical workforce challenges that can be addressed through data-driven analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in HR Technology with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Extensive experience managing HR technology systems (e.g., Workday, Ashby) is essential, including full lifecycle implementation and post-go-live optimization.
  • Proven track record of building and managing a comprehensive People Data strategy, including reporting, analytics, and data governance.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and develop technical talent.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business terms for executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, vendors, and budgets effectively.
