About the Role

We are seeking a Director of People & Culture to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Builders, a civic movement dedicated to bridging divides in our society. As the Director of People & Culture, you will lead our HR initiatives, ensuring we attract and retain top talent while fostering a positive organizational culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee all full-cycle talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a consistent and high-quality candidate experience.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluation, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Enhance HR systems and practices that can scale with the organization.
  • Partner closely with leadership on workforce planning and oversee all core HR responsibilities.
  • Shape Builders’ culture by creating an environment rooted in trust, accountability, and shared purpose.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
  • Strong expertise in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with HR compliance and operational excellence.
  • Ability to leverage technology and AI to streamline HR processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
