Director of Institutional Giving - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Institutional Giving - Remote to join our team at Vibrant Emotional Health. In this role, you will lead our efforts in generating revenue from government agencies, corporations, and family foundations, ensuring that our mission of promoting emotional wellness is supported through effective fundraising strategies.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute an institutional fundraising strategy to enhance our revenue streams.
• Identify and cultivate new institutional funding sources to support our programs.
• Write and oversee grant proposals and applications, ensuring compliance with government grant requirements.
• Manage government grant compliance and reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
• Grow corporate philanthropy partnerships and sponsorships to expand our outreach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling proposals that resonate with funders.
• Conduct institutional prospect research to identify potential funding opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with funders through regular meetings and site visits.
• Track fundraising progress and prepare updates for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization's mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Public Healthcare.
• 5+ years of experience in institutional fundraising, particularly in the nonprofit sector.
• 5+ years of experience with government grant writing and compliance.
• Proven track record of securing large gifts over $100,000.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional writing and project management skills to effectively communicate our mission.
• Ability to work EST hours to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to fundraising.

• Experience in the mental health or nonprofit sector.
• Familiarity with fundraising software and donor management systems.
