Director of GTM Finance & Strategy - Remote
About the Role
Join Chainalysis as the Director of GTM Finance & Strategy, a pivotal role in our finance team. As a remote position, you will lead our financial strategy, supporting the Global Revenue organization. This role is essential for driving growth and efficiency in our operations.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to our Global Revenue organization, collaborating with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, and Services leadership.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance reporting across GTM teams to inform decision-making and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Create geo-level P&L and headcount reporting to support quarterly business reviews and assess regional performance.
- Manage the development and maintenance of our sales capacity model, ensuring alignment with topline targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Corporate Finance, and Accounting on quota setting and compensation plans.
- Own commissions modeling and reporting, driving forecast accuracy and providing strategic insights into compensation plan performance.
- Build and manage services P&L reporting and forecasting, partnering with Services Leadership to translate strategy into margin impacts.
- Support long-term planning and strategic initiatives with scenario planning and ROI analyses.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a strategic finance business partner, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
- At least 2+ years of experience in an operating role as a GTM finance partner and 2+ years of people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Sales and Finance Planning Cycles, including budgets and forecasts.
- Excellent financial modeling skills, with the ability to work with large data sets in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong executive presentation skills to clearly present complex topics to a C-level audience.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with blockchain technology.
- Experience with Planning and Forecasting tools like Adaptive Insights or Anaplan.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau and data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks.
