DevOps Engineer - Cloud Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will develop and maintain automation solutions that streamline infrastructure and application deployment within a cloud environment. Your contributions will ensure operational efficiency and system reliability, impacting our ability to deliver seamless digital customer engagement.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and cross-functional teams to create and deploy automation strategies.
• Architect and manage scalable, secure infrastructure using cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Ensure the infrastructure is highly available and secure while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Python programming experience focused on automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
