Design System Lead - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Design System Lead - Remote to join INFOMEDIJI d.o.o, a leader in transforming video experiences through innovative Spatial Media technology. As a Design System Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of video consumption by creating engaging, interactive experiences that incorporate multi-user presence, haptics, and AI-driven storytelling. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to redefining the media landscape.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design system strategy and execution across web, mobile, and VR platforms.
• Build, scale, and maintain a robust, reusable design system including components, patterns, tokens, and documentation.
• Ensure visual, interaction, and accessibility consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure smooth implementation of design systems.
• Define standards, guidelines, and best practices for product design.
• Create and maintain interactive prototypes to validate system components and flows.
• Identify gaps in the design system and proactively improve it based on product and team needs.
• Mentor designers and act as a design system champion across the organization.
• Stay current with design system tooling, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience, with a significant focus on design systems.
• Strong track record of owning and scaling design systems in production products.
• Expert-level skills in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, libraries, tokens).
• Deep understanding of UI/UX, interaction design, and accessibility principles.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience working closely with developers and understanding technical constraints.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web standards.
• Fluent with modern AI tools for design and prototyping.
• Able to quickly prototype small UI components and interactive prototypes to test ideas.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English (B2 and above) and Russian.

• Experience with user testing and feedback integration.
