About the Role

DLB Associates is seeking a Design Construction Manager II to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead design and construction projects across the U.S. You will play a crucial role in ensuring project success while collaborating with various stakeholders. What You'll Do

  • Act as the contractor and/or owner’s representative, overseeing design and construction phases.
  • Drive the design process from schematic design through record drawings.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor design-phase budget and schedule drivers, surfacing scope/cost impacts promptly.
  • Provide weekly updates on design progress, blockers, risks, and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
  • Skilled in using construction management software such as Procore.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI and emerging technologies to optimize operational processes.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in project management.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
