Delivery Driver - Warehouse Support (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver - Warehouse Support (Remote) to join our team at Republic Electric Company. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time while also supporting warehouse operations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in our logistics and distribution process, making this an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow in the logistics field.

What You'll Do

• Run delivery routes to deliver customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Pull equipment and parts for orders, loading and unloading them onto the delivery truck.
• Build your manifest, which includes planning and scheduling your delivery route.
• Contact customers to confirm order details and provide proof of delivery.
• Receive shipments, confirm quantities, and inspect shipments for damage.
• Assist with receiving paperwork and transfer paperwork as required.
• Put away products and follow standard warehouse procedures, including First-In-First-Out inventory practices.
• Participate in occasional cycle counts and assist other departments with inventory questions.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and an energetic attitude.
• Attention to detail and technology proficiency, including the use of Microsoft products and delivery scanners/tablets.
• Physical capability to squat, bend, and lift over 25-50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug screen.

• Experience in a similar role within logistics or delivery.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
