What You'll Do

  • Support data center engineers with on-site physical deployments, including racking, stacking, and cabling servers, power distribution units, and switches.
  • Replace server components such as CPU, RAM, drives, and boards.
  • Submit RMA to equipment manufacturers, managing shipping and receiving of gear to and from remote locations.
  • Efficiently work through assigned tickets and perform basic diagnosis and repairs to hardware in line with internal SLAs.
  • Assist data center engineers in debugging network, hardware, and Linux OS-related issues.
  • Manage asset tracking and monitor data center hardware and component inventory.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with servers, hardware, and networking is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong interest in data center hardware and infrastructure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative nature.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills preferred but not essential.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10% - 15% travel).
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs and be on your feet all day.

  • Experience with Linux operating systems.

  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
