Data Center Operations & Procurement Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Center Operations & Procurement Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will take full operational ownership of our global Data Center footprint, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a key player in our organization, you will bridge the gap between technical requirements, vendor management, and project execution.

What You'll Do

• Take operational ownership of the Data Center processes, ensuring end-to-end delivery of hardware and stability of our Data Center relationships.
• Lead infrastructure projects involving new hardware tranches, capacity expansions, and site migrations, including creating schedules and installation plans.
• Negotiate with carriers and Data Center providers, monitor SLAs, handle escalations, and manage contract renewals.
• Understand rack density, power planning, cross-connects, and the dependencies between Network, Server, and Data Center environments.
• Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, perform TCO analysis, and integrate workflows with Finance and Legal teams.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in an infrastructure-heavy environment.
• Proven track record in Data Center operations, IT infrastructure procurement, or Technical Project Management.
• Experience coordinating global hardware deliveries and maintaining accurate asset registries.
• Broad understanding of the IT lifecycle with deep expertise in operational delivery.
• Background in Infrastructure Project Management, Technical Procurement, or Systems/Network Engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or IT service management.
