About the Role

We are looking for a Data Annotation Contractor - Remote to join our team at Mercor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing AI systems by categorizing and labeling data using predefined taxonomies. The engagement will last through December, with the potential for extension, allowing you to work remotely and asynchronously.

What You'll Do

• Annotate and categorize data to improve AI systems.
• Utilize predefined taxonomies for data labeling.
• Work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Commit to approximately 20 hours per week.
• Participate in the Preference Selection Calibration Assessment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• No prior work experience required; all class years are welcome.
• US-based education preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for technology.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
