Data Analyst - Remote Role in Cybersecurity

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst remote to join our team at XBOW, where we are redefining the future of cybersecurity. In this role, you will be pulling data from various sources to track key KPIs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across teams. You will partner closely with product, SRE, and engineering teams to analyze user behavior and deliver insights that inform leadership decisions.

What You'll Do

• Conduct data analysis for finance and GTM teams, supporting strategic planning and forecasting.
• Analyze product data to inform improvements and shape the product roadmap.
• Build and maintain dashboards for company-wide use, particularly for leadership.
• Ensure data quality across the product and observability stack.
• Define KPIs to measure product development and quality effectively.
• Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering team on observability and product reliability.
• Work with Product Management to gather and analyze product metrics and user behavior.
• Support development teams in using observability pipelines and ensure data semantics alignment.
• Ensure compliance with data security regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SQL data analysis.
• Familiarity with BI solutions like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or NewRelic.
• Understanding of GDPR and similar regulations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with engineering monitoring tools like Grafana.
• Knowledge of data science tools in Python, R, or Julia.
• Familiarity with data pipelines.
