Data Analyst - Remote Position in Agrarian Services

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst remote to join our dynamic team at Coherent Solutions. This role is pivotal in helping our U.S.-based client, a key player in the Farm Credit System, modernize their operations and enhance their data analytics capabilities. As a Data Analyst remote, you will play a crucial role in migrating the existing Data Warehouse to the cloud, utilizing your expertise in data analytics and cloud technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Gather and clarify requirements from data analysts and review historical defects to ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain validation models using DBT to enhance data integrity.
• Create basic visualizations in Databricks Dashboards to support validation models and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Investigate data issues, analyze failures, and report findings to the team to continuously improve data quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate sensitive data using logical inferences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience as a Data Analyst remote.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, including Kimball methodology, dimensions, and fact tables.
• Hands-on experience with Python and familiarity with DBT or similar macro-driven languages.
• Understanding of how data warehouses operate is a strong advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data validation frameworks such as Great Expectations.
• Background in automated data quality assurance and maintaining workflow systems.
• Willingness to refactor and optimize processes for improved execution time.
