About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Specialist (Aerospace) remote to join Eaton’s Corporate Sector division. This role offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 - $175,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. As a key member of our global team of security experts, you will drive the 'Security by Design' philosophy in Eaton's products and solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the cybersecurity technical efforts for Secure Product Development processes across the Aerospace division.
  • Collaborate with the Eaton Product Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE) to define cybersecurity requirements for hardware and software.
  • Coordinate and plan Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing for Eaton's Cyber Physical products.
  • Drive Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment exercises with product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to product teams in implementing complex cybersecurity features.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain security tools and automation frameworks to enhance cybersecurity work package delivery.
  • Support DevSecOps teams with automation of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Conduct technical security training for Technical Leaders, Cybersecurity Engineers, and software developers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product cybersecurity within Critical Infrastructure or Aerospace security.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Experience with cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and CMMC.
  • Strong understanding of threat modeling, secure software development lifecycle, and penetration testing.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with DO-326A and DO-356A standards.
  • Experience in hardware, applications, and systems security.
  • Knowledge of cryptography and security protocols.
