What You'll Do

  • Support the architecture and design of baked-in cybersecurity requirements and protections.
  • Plan, implement, and assess allocated security controls, policies, and processes compliance.
  • Translate allocated security controls into system and segment level requirements.
  • Provide cybersecurity system engineering implementation guidance and oversight to technical teams.
  • Review and assess stakeholder security objectives, protection needs, and concerns.
  • Document findings and perform scanning/assessment tasks on program assets.
  • Author and maintain cybersecurity program documentation and RMF package documentation.
  • Identify, quantify, and evaluate the costs/benefits of security functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required at time of application.
  • Direct experience developing RMF assessment and authorization documentation.
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Strong understanding of RMF (NIST 800-37) accreditation functions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
  • Possession of Security+ Certification or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification.

Nice to Have

  • Expertise with systems security engineering as defined in NIST SP 800-160.
  • Experience working with DOORS and CAMEO Security related tool suites.
  • Familiarity with configuring and implementing industry-standard technologies like Rapid 7 and Splunk.
