About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel (Data Centers) remote to join our dynamic team at Galaxy. What You’ll Do

  • Structure, negotiate, and draft a wide range of agreements supporting data center construction and operations, including construction contracts, procurement agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Provide legal support for large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects from development through operations.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on risk allocation, contract interpretation, and dispute mitigation related to construction and operational matters.
  • Negotiate confidentiality agreements and other commercial contracts as required.
  • Manage and oversee outside counsel on construction, procurement, and operational legal matters.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on company strategies and their implementation within the data center platform.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of legal experience, with significant experience in construction, procurement, and vendor contract negotiation for large-scale projects.
  • Prior experience at a nationally recognized law firm, with exposure to infrastructure, construction, or complex commercial contracting.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and partner closely with cross-functional business teams.
  • Juris Doctor degree and active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
  • Experience managing outside counsel and advising on risk in high-value, time-sensitive projects.

Who Will Succeed Here

Proven experience in Contract Negotiation and understanding of Vendor Contracts, particularly in the context of technology and data center operations, ensuring compliance with both Procurement and Construction Law.

Strong ability to conduct comprehensive Legal Research in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and proactive problem-solving skills to address complex legal issues in a timely manner.
