Corporate and Security Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join air up as a Corporate and Security Engineer and experience one of the most exciting remote roles in the tech industry! In this position, you'll be responsible for building and evolving our corporate IT infrastructure while ensuring security governance across our operations. This Corporate and Security Engineer role allows you to work remotely from Germany, Spain, or Portugal, offering you the flexibility to thrive in your environment.

What You'll Do

• Create, build, test, deliver, and support infrastructure, automation, and employee tooling.
• Architect and maintain a Zero Trust corporate infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure changes, evolve system design, and foster good engineering practices.
• Design and deploy a unified detection and response pipeline using a Security as Code approach.
• Manage security policies: create, implement, manage, and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous threat modeling and automated vulnerability management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (or a compelling reason for not having one).
• 3+ years of experience as a modern IT System Administrator, DevOps, Security, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Proficiency in using various security tools and software for monitoring, assessment, and protection.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, particularly with platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English; good command of German is a plus.
• Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform, MDM tools like Kandji and Intune.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace SSO, SCIM, SAML, OAuth.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub).
