Copywriter for Breakout Prop - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Copywriter for Breakout Prop to join our remote team at Kraken. As a Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in shaping the brand voice of our crypto-native prop trading platform. This position is perfect for someone who is deeply immersed in the world of crypto and has a passion for writing compelling content that resonates with our audience. In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-impact messaging across various channels, helping to drive the adoption of crypto and educate consumers.

What You'll Do

• Concept and write creative content for paid campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, Google, and programmatic channels.
• Craft engaging organic content for community-driven environments including X, Discord, and Reddit.
• Write website copy, landing pages, lifecycle messaging, and other owned-channel communications.
• Collaborate closely with an in-house designer and freelance creatives to bring ideas to life.
• Work cross-functionally with Growth and Lifecycle teams to test messaging, evaluate performance, and iterate rapidly.
• Distill complex crypto and trading concepts into clear, compelling, and conversion-oriented messaging.

Requirements

• 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in a startup, fintech, or tech-driven organization.
• At least 1 year of experience working at a crypto company with genuine enthusiasm for the category.
• Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, storytelling range, and adaptability across formats.
• Experience writing for performance and brand across various digital platforms.
• Able to translate complex topics into accessible, motivating narratives.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment.
