Consultant Lawyer – Remote Contract Position for Americas

About the Role

We are seeking a Consultant Lawyer – Remote to join Avantia Law, a leading legal and compliance partner for asset managers and private equity firms. This role is fully remote, allowing you to practice law flexibly while managing high-volume negotiations on investment-related contracts.

What You'll Do

• Lead the negotiation of investment-related NDAs, engagement letters, and non-reliance letters.
• Manage the entire contract process from initial review to document execution.
• Collaborate closely with fellow Avantia lawyers and paralegals to ensure rapid turnaround times.
• Engage in fast-paced negotiations while adhering to client playbooks.
• Prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a lawyer, preferably in contract negotiation.
• Strong understanding of relevant legal concepts with a commercial outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering quality service to clients.
