About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance & Data Research Lead - Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the compliance framework and data research strategies for our organization. As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while tackling complex, high-impact problems in the data engineering space.

What You'll Do

Lead compliance initiatives and data research projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and compliance testing processes.
Utilize tools such as SQL, Python, and DBT to analyze data and generate insights.
Implement and monitor compliance policies related to GDPR, SOC 2, and other regulatory standards.
Drive the development of data models and microservices to support compliance objectives.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in compliance and data research, with a focus on data engineering.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
Experience with data tools like Airflow and BigQuery.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in financial services or consumer finance sectors.
Familiarity with performance marketing and social media compliance.
Knowledge of cryptocurrency taxation and compliance frameworks.
