What You'll Do
- Assist the kitchen team in food production, ensuring the highest standards are met.
- Participate in daily food preparations, including portioning and utilizing food surpluses to control costs.
- Ensure all food preparations meet outlined recipes regarding portion size, quality, and quantity.
- Show flexibility and creativity in handling special requests and challenges.
- Work shifts that may vary, currently set as 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm, 2pm-11pm, and 3pm-12am.
Requirements
- Essential skills in Baking & Pastry Techniques, including creaming, folding, and tempering chocolate.
- Knife and precision skills for accurate cutting, shaping, and decorating pastries.
- Ingredient knowledge, particularly with flour types, dairy, and chocolate.
- Basic proficiency in piping and decoration using piping bags for frosting and garnishing.
- Understanding of plating and presentation for visually appealing desserts.

- Attention to detail in measurements and presentation.
- Time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork capabilities to collaborate effectively with other chefs and kitchen staff.
- Creativity to contribute ideas for new pastry designs and flavors.
- Adaptability to handle various pastry tasks and learn from senior chefs.
