About the Role

Join Wiz as a Commercial Counsel in a remote position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the legal landscape of cloud security. As a Commercial Counsel, you will work closely with our revenue teams in EMEA, providing legal expertise that supports our mission to empower organizations worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Act as a legal business partner to Wiz’s revenue teams, summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks in a meaningful way.
• Take ownership of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of legal agreements, including SaaS contracts and NDAs.
• Advise internal teams on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocity.
• Understand the context of customer positions and internal requests, striving to solve problems from their perspective.
• Triage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal clients and delivering results efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
• Ensure that all agreements comply with company policies and risk tolerance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software or technology company.
• Knowledge of data privacy and experience handling related questions when negotiating Data Processing Agreements.
• Admitted to the bar and in good standing in Israel, the UK, or at least one country in Europe.
• Strong “business-friendly” style with an understanding of the legal team’s role in supporting business growth.
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume of contracts.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship.
