About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Associate - Remote to join Molecule, a pioneering company at the intersection of biotech and Web3. This role is crucial for driving business development and managing investor relationships in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Own follow-through on the business development (BD) pipeline, tracking active deal workstreams across enterprise, academic, and biotech partnerships.
  • Manage and build investor relations, maintaining relationships with over 70 existing investors through regular updates and communications.
  • Triage correspondence with enterprise, pharma, and investors, applying sound commercial judgment.
  • Coordinate and prepare for high-stakes calls and meetings across time zones, ensuring the team is fully briefed.
  • Draft and refine investor communications, partnership proposals, and internal updates on behalf of the Commercial Team.
  • Build and maintain a commercial system to categorize, track, and report BD opportunities internally.
  • Coordinate cross-functional deal activity, ensuring alignment across organizations and teams.
  • Analyze incoming partnership opportunities with scientific literacy to evaluate their worth and brief leadership accordingly.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in tech sales, business development, or relevant fields.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a relentless follow-through mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of drafting detailed investor memos and engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in complex environments, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Global flexibility, with a willingness to spend initial months in Berlin for onboarding and relationship-building.

Nice to Have

  • A scientific background, ideally a Master’s or PhD in life sciences, biotech, or chemistry.
  • Familiarity with biotech IP licensing and research collaboration agreements.
  • Experience navigating international stakeholder relationships across US and European markets.
  • Interest in decentralized science, Web3, or token-based funding models.
  • Experience building or managing a CRM or deal-tracking system from scratch.
