About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist III for a remote opportunity to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Lathe Machinist III, you will be responsible for setting up and operating complex CNC lathe machines with minimal supervision. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Set up and run CNC lathe machines for the most complex parts.
- Load parts according to the manufacturing plan or product specifications.
- Monitor tooling wear and change tools as required.
- Inspect parts using mechanical gauges such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform setups on production parts and new product introduction (NPI) work.
- Provide feedback during Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of five to seven years of relevant work experience.
- Trade school, vocational education, or formal apprenticeship in machining.
- Comprehensive knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Extensive knowledge of CNC programming and G&M codes.
- Ability to perform setups and adjustments on CNC machines.

- Experience with advanced CNC machinery.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
