Cloud Security Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at X4 Technology. This Cloud Security Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely while making a significant impact on our cloud security posture.

What You'll Do

• Implement and manage CNAP policies in Wiz for continuous cloud posture assessment and remediation.
• Build policy-as-code frameworks with OPA/Rego to prevent misconfigurations pre-deployment.
• Integrate security controls into Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows, such as Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners.
• Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to remediate non-compliant resources effectively.
• Monitor and refine policies to continuously improve cloud governance and security posture.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in AWS and strong experience across other cloud platforms.
• Proficient in cloud security architecture and Wiz CNAP for posture management.
• Advanced skills in policy-as-code using OPA/Rego.
• Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD-driven DevSecOps.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation, enforcement, and remediation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with security compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of container security practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
