What You'll Do

• Develop and operate cloud-based services, leveraging your programming skills in Golang and Python.
• Work within infrastructure and cloud environments, specifically with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity across research, design, implementation, and operational support activities.
• Implement observability frameworks and operational monitoring for cloud-native services, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver security posture-related features in partnership with Product Line Management (PLM).
• Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, QA collaboration, release, and deployment.
• Engage in ongoing maintenance and operational support, including participation in the team’s on-call rotation.
• Occasionally interact with customers for production support.

Requirements

• Strong programming and scripting skills in Golang and Python.
• Solid understanding of cloud environments, particularly GCP and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native services and security best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively, articulating both high-level architecture and detailed technical designs.
• Experience with configuration schemas such as JSON, YAML, or XML.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with security policies, access control models, and configuration profiles across various environments.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and common threat models.
