About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Backend Developer (Python) remote to join our team at ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications primarily on Azure and GCP. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on Azure / GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, GCS Buckets, networking, Redis/MemoryStore).
• Build robust backend services using Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Python.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure and GCP.
• Proficiency in FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redis or MemoryStore.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
