What You'll Do
- Develop and implement FinOps practices and tooling across AWS and Azure landing zones to optimize cloud spending.
- Create comprehensive cost visibility dashboards and reports for stakeholder transparency.
- Automate financial operations processes including budget alerts, anomaly detection, and chargeback mechanisms.
- Analyze cloud consumption patterns and recommend cost optimization strategies.
- Implement strategies and financial controls to ensure proper cost allocation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported platform issues, service requests, and work orders.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Academic degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud platform engineering focusing on financial operations and cost optimization.
- Strong understanding of FinOps principles, cloud cost management strategies, and billing processes for AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Databricks, ETL processes, Power BI, and financial data analysis in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in process automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for financial reporting workflows.
- Basic knowledge of financial controlling principles and budgeting processes in technology environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to design workflows with complex financial data.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
